This will be my first year as head coach of
the B squad and my second year as head coach
of the junior competition squad. I
love cheerleading. I was a cheerleader
all through the midget program when I was
younger and cheered all the way through my
senior year in high school. My
daughters are in the program and I have
always been involved somehow and now it is
my turn to coach and I love it.
I am happily married to my husband Mike.
He coaches the A squad football team and has
gone through the program as well growing up.
He is the director of estimating at
Benchmark Construction Company. We
have three children. We have Kiley
,who is twelve. She has cheered for
the past six years.
She is going into seventh grade this
year. She cheered for the football season as
well as on the competition squad.
Kiley was on both the senior squad and came
through to help us out on the junior squad
due to an injury to another girl.
Katie is my other daughter. She is
seven and attends Schaeffer Elementary.
This will be her second year cheering.
Last year she was on the D team and
absolutely loved cheering. Our son
Brock is four and is a future football star.
He loves going to practices and games with
his Daddy.
I
love working with the girls. It is so
rewarding! I love the feeling of
seeing how much they progress over the
season and how they execute the routines and
cheers that we come up with for them to do!

C
Squad- Brandy Houser
My
Cheerleading career began when I was 8 years
old when I tried out for the MAA D squad. I
continued with the Manheim Athletic
Association until the 6th grade where I was
one of only 5 future 7th graders to make the
junior high squad. After two years on the
junior high squad I began coaching as an
assistant for the MAA D squad. That year we
placed 1st in both competitions we attended.
The next year I continued on the junior high
squad, and followed my group of girls to C
squad, where we again placed first at our
first competition where we went up against B
squads because of different age cut offs We
placed first in dance and second in cheering
at our next competition. We had the same
success the following year on B squad,
taking first at both competitions we
attended. That same year I began my high
school cheerleading career at Manheim
Central, The following year I started as an
assistant coach for junior high. And you
guessed it, at our competition we won. That
year I was the captain of my varsity squad
and received an invitation to cheer with NCA
in
Ireland.
After graduating I attended Bloomsburg
University, and Millersville University
where I majored in Marketing. I am currently
the Internet Sales/Marketing Director for
my family’s company Adcock Bros Inc. We are
the nations second largest automotive
wholesale operation. So, if I wasn’t busy
enough... I am also the mother of three and
married to my wonderful husband for 9 years.
My husband and I also own and run the
Lancaster Lightning Minor League Football
Team. I coordinate the cheerleading squad
and handle promotional events. In 2005 we
played a game a Clipper Magazine Stadium and
where the Manheim Township Youth
Cheerleaders were our special guests. I knew
then that I wanted to be a part of this
wonderful organization. Working with Crystal
was such a great pleasure. Since then I have
had two of my cheerleaders do choreography
for the program. This year I will be
coaching the D squad, The age group I
absolutely adore. Making it even sweeter
will be that I will get to coach my oldest
daughter Reagen (7) in her first year. I’ve
been waiting for this day since the day she
was born. My two younger daughters Avery
(3) and Lauren (1) will enjoy watching their
sister doing what she loves!
My goal
for this season is to instill a love for
cheerleading in the hearts of all my girls,
while emphasizing the dedication and
discipline it takes to be successful in the
sport. I want to start the girls out with
the knowledge of proper stunting technique,
correct motion placement, and give the
confidence needed to win!

MEET
YOUR DIRECTOR
 |
Crystal Weaver-
I have been a part of this organization
for 13 years. I began my years
at MT as secretary and also did registration
and concessions. I became Director of
Cheerleading four years ago.
I have a wonderful husband, Rod. We
have been married for 4 1/2 years. Rod
also served on the board of directors for
nine years in charge of fundraising.
Rod is our official photographer at youth
cheerleading as well as at the competition
squads. He works at American Period
Lighting. Together we have five
children. All three of my children
have come through this program either at
football or cheerleading. My two step-
children were also a part of this program.
Ian is 24 and beginning nursing school, Cory
is 21 and he is a chef at Mazzi's
and just graduated from YTI. My
daughter Sami is 19 and she cheered 10 years
at Manheim Township and also for an allstar
squad. She works at Huckleberrys.
I have two step-children, Matt is 24 and
works at School Speciality and attends HACC.
My step-daughter Heather is 21 and works at
Red Lobster and is also attending HACC.
They also came through this program. It was
almost impossible not to get involved in
this organization and I am so glad that I
did. I have met many wonderful people
from being a part of it. The children
are the best part. I have seen many
girls begin here at the D level and are now
seniors in high school and part of our
competition squad. It is a wonderful
sense of accomplishment when you see how far
the girls have come.
My full time job also involves children.
I have had daycare in my home for 21
years. I also volunteer at Hospice of
Lancaster County. My husband and I
also love to travel. We love to take
cruises and travel to places that we have
not seen before. However, most of my
free time is taken up by cheerleading and I
love it.
We also have competitions squads that
continue when the youth cheerleading season
ends. This will be our third year as a
competition squad.
